Distance from Mbeya : 173klms drive one way (+/- 3.5 hours). This can be done as a day trip, leaving from your hotel very early with a packed breakfast and enjoying a lunch at one the resorts on the lake shore and departing at 15:00 for the return journey to Mbeya town, or stay overnight.
